Locked Shields Global Cyber Defense Exercise

WVU has been a leader in supporting the world’s largest cyber defense exercise — hosted in Morgantown — where generals and admirals, senior defense experts, industry leaders and academics from around the world gather to simulate cyberattacks on critical infrastructure to test defensive strategies and heighten operational readiness.
